When you’re only 18 and brave enough to “swim in the ocean among the big fish” in business!

For the second year in a row, our most motivated 12th-grade students from the Entrepreneurship program have the opportunity to participate in the pre-accelerator program of our partners from Beyond, part of the Junior Achievement network!

This year, the participating teams are:
Green Filters (Alexandra Sivova and Mihail Djurkov)
Fresh Guard (Martin Georgiev and Simeon Djabarski)

Here’s a reminder of their innovative business ideas:

The goal of the Green Filters team is to tackle environmental pollution, focusing on non-degradable cigarette butts and disposable diapers. Their concept is to transform these waste products into activated carbon for purification purposes!

Fresh Guard’s business idea targets the food industry, specifically the challenges of selling large quantities of meat products. Their innovation is a freshness-detecting sticker for chilled meat in stores, ensuring safer consumption.

By joining the program, the students gain access to a top-tier entrepreneurial training experience and the chance to present their business ideas to a vast global network of mentors, investors, and startup support funds. The program mainly includes participants at the university and business levels, making it an excellent springboard for our ambitious students!

This year, we continue our mission of building the future leaders of Bulgaria and Europe by partnering with various institutions from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, numerous companies, and mentors within and beyond our school community. These collaborations give our students real-world exposure to the business and scientific environments in Bulgaria and Europe.

Thank you for your support! And to our students—keep striving, we are proud of you!
