We are proud to share that, once again, our students have qualified for the national round of the English Language Olympiad! On March 29-30, 2025, in Kardzhali, three of our outstanding students will represent us – Matea-Rosa Kostadinova (8A) taught by Alexandra Evseeva, Katrina Korakova (11B) taught by Elena Buzova, and Maria Bozhinova (11C) taught by Margarita Trencheva!

They unanimously shared that they are aware of their strengths, have some understandable slight concerns about certain types of tasks, but are excited and feel prepared to showcase everything they are capable of!

“The tasks in the municipal and regional rounds were not challenging for us, and we are excited to see what awaits us at the national level!”

In 2023, another of our proud representatives, Radost Krumova, competed in the national round. In 2022, Rosen Kamenov from 8th grade not only qualified for the national round of the English Language Olympiad but also secured first place in his age group. In 2020, we were equally proud of the first-place achievement of Maxine-Helen Haralambiev!

Here’s what Ms. Tatyana Duleva, who will accompany our students this year, shared:

“The opening ceremonies of the national rounds are usually very formal and exciting for everyone! This sense of elevation and pride among participants, knowing they have reached such a level, is truly inspiring. We are delighted that our students get to experience this feeling because they deserve it! The environment at Prof. Ivan Apostolov Private English Language Secondary School truly fosters an outstanding level of language proficiency, and studying it up to C2 level is remarkable.”

We are excited and wish the best of luck to our three outstanding students, who are heading to Kardzhali with Ms. Tatyana Duleva this Friday!
