Our young journalists Ekaterina Miteva, Irena Dimitrova, and Irena Ivanova from Grade 9 have been published in Duma newspaper with an interview they conducted with Filip Filipov, organizer of the multilingual student festival “The Word – Strength and Boundlessness” in Velingrad.
The three students joined our Journalism and Photography Club this school year and have already demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, initiative, and dedication. Driven by their own interest, they accompanied our theatre troupe to the multilingual student festival in Velingrad, where our actors won the festival’s highest distinction – the Grand Prix for Outstanding Performance in the Bulgarian Language category for students in grades 8–12.
During the festival, Ekaterina, Irena, and Irena had the opportunity to interview the event’s organizer. This marks their first published interview and is yet another testament to the talent, curiosity, and professionalism they bring to journalism. We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement and wish them continued enthusiasm, confidence, and success as they pursue their passion.
