Following numerous national and international awards, the team appeared on \u201cSocial Network\u201d on NOVA<\/strong>, while two of the students received recognition in the national \u201c20 Under 20\u201d<\/strong> programme by Capital<\/em> and the U.S. Ambassador\u2019s Youth Council: Viktoria Koleva was a finalist in the \u201cScience and Technology\u201d category<\/strong>, while Sofia Nikolova was a semi-finalist in the \u201cEntrepreneurship\u201d category<\/strong>. The most important step forward this year, however, was BioBliss\u2019s transition from a student company into an officially established start-up<\/strong>, with patent agreements with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and partnerships with other companies and start-ups.<\/p>\n

\u2013 RainReborn<\/strong> \u2013 the team of Boris Stoyanov, Aleksandar Isakov, Viktor Simeonov, Dariya Tancheva, and Iva Peychinova achieved a series of outstanding successes with their AI-powered system for intelligent rainwater management<\/strong>. The project won first place in the SDG Dragons category<\/strong> at the national competition \u201cBest Youth Start-up in Bulgaria \u2013 2026\u201d<\/strong>, and then went on to triumph on the international stage, winning the grand prize, \u201cThe Best Company of International Student Company Festival 2026,\u201d<\/strong> at the international festival in Riga<\/strong>, competing against 138 student companies from across Europe<\/strong>. RainReborn also represented Bulgaria at the Junior Achievement Austria \u2013 Marketplace Vienna<\/strong>, where the team attracted significant interest in its student-developed system for collecting, filtering, and intelligently using rainwater.<\/p>\n

\u2013 ZeroLoop<\/strong> \u2013 the team of Borislav Dimov, Mihail Lalev, Aleksandar Chepishev, and Stelin Kushev won second place in the SDG Dragons category<\/strong> at the national competition \u201cBest Youth Start-up in Bulgaria \u2013 2026\u201d with their app designed to reduce waste through partnerships with restaurants and incentives for using reusable personal containers<\/strong>. \u2013 Tech Desk \u2013 Special Award at the Junior Achievement Bulgaria Final:<\/strong> The school company Tech Desk<\/strong> won the Schneider Electric Award for Technological Entrepreneurship<\/strong> at the national Junior Achievement Bulgaria final. The team \u2013 Viktor Kolev, Konstantin Kosev, Vanessa Dyakova, and Yana Larionova<\/strong> \u2013 presented an idea for a school platform designed to facilitate access to educational materials in a digital environment and reduce the need for students to carry heavy school bags.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Scenthea<\/strong> \u2013 Katrin Todorova, Kristina Chervenyakova, Darina Krasteva, and Silvia Kralevska presented their eco-friendly roll-on perfume<\/strong> at the international Marketplace Vienna<\/strong>, where they made their first sales and initiated an international partnership with Mozaick Fragrances Vienna<\/strong>. The team also reached the final of the national \u201cBest Youth Start-up in Bulgaria \u2013 2026\u201d competition<\/strong>, competing against more than 600 participants from across the country.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Octolio\/FinQuest<\/strong> \u2013 with their educational game designed to develop financial literacy through interactive simulations and real-life decision-making, the team also reached the final of the national \u201cBest Youth Start-up in Bulgaria \u2013 2026\u201d competition<\/strong>. They also represented the school at the international festival in Riga.<\/p>\n

\u2013 ReGenCycle<\/strong> \u2013 the team of Georgi Ivanov, Simona G. Pisin, Aleksandar Aleksandrov, and Kaloyan S. Stoyanov won the Innovation Award<\/strong> at the International Student Company Festival Riga 2026 with their smart accelerated composting system<\/strong>, which uses AI to optimise the biodegradation process.<\/p>\n
