Sharing experiences helps shape the environment in which we live, learn, work, and create. For this reason, our visionary teachers, Mr. Deyan Doikov and Mr. Ivan Petrov, shared their valuable expertise in teaching entrepreneurial disciplines and their participation in JA Bulgaria’s “Student Company” program at the National Forum “We Are the Future” in Gabrovo at the end of November.
Mr. Deyan Doikov presented his in-depth research on learning styles, conducted with 10th-grade students over the past two academic years. The research identifies four main learning styles and provides innovative recommendations for effectively tailoring education to each group of students. The level of research impressed the forum’s delegates, sparking numerous discussions and earning enthusiastic applause.
Mr. Ivan Petrov gave a presentation on “Mentorship Practices in Teaching the Student Company Program” and shared other successful practices achieved through the collective efforts and support of colleagues at the high school and mentors from our school community. These efforts have led to many top leadership placements and awards in national and international competitions and forums.
A reminder: CHEG “Prof. Ivan Apostolov” proudly holds the prestigious international “TES – The Entrepreneurial School” award, ranking among the top 10 entrepreneurial schools in Europe.
The forum was a resounding success for us, resulting in numerous new connections and discussions of potential partnerships and future initiatives with other schools and educational organizations.
The National Forum “We Are the Future” was held on November 23, 2024, in Gabrovo and was organized by JA Bulgaria, the Ministry of Education and Science, Gabrovo Municipality, and the Regional Educational Inspectorate of Gabrovo. The event welcomed the mayor and regional governor of Gabrovo, teachers from across Bulgaria, and many students from the Gabrovo region.
