Entrepreneurship

The lessons allotted to specialized courses that are aimed at building over the acquired skills and knowledge are distributed among English, Entrepreneurship and Information Technology. In addition, students study the optional Economics, Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Marketing and Advertising, Finance and Career Development. 
The skills and knowledge students acquire in this department gradually prepare them for facing the challenges of contemporary business and management. The main objective of the course is to encourage the development of concrete skills like analytical and critical thinking, presentation skills, creativity and team work.
The education process is designed around the interest of the student, modern education approaches are used like project work, flexible and adaptive learning, design thinking.

Software and hardware studies

The lessons allotted to specialized courses that are aimed at building over the acquired skills and knowledge are distributed among English, Information Studies and Information Technology.  In addition students   study the optional Mathematics, foreign Language /other than English/and Career Development. 
 
The skills and knowledge that students acquire in this department prepare them not only for a successful career in Programming but also in IT Management. The main objective of the course is to encourage the development of skills and knowledge of applying new technologies in all spheres. 
Special focus is given to modern information tendencies :  the internet of things, the internet of everything, block chain, data base and others.  Teaching Software and Hardware Studies has been designed to avail of the latest technologies and IT platforms and tools and is aimed at providing practical skills and knowledge.
  
The subjects are divided in three categories that cover the main development spheres. 
  • Software development 
  • Programming and hardware /embedded/  systems
  • Graphic design and multimedia  
Those who choose the study Software Development will learn the basics of programming and latest concepts in the object oriented and functional programming. The course will teach the steps in the development of a fully functioning web application.  
 
Embedded Systems Programming teaches the development of software of lower level as well as the management of different outer devices like censors, light diodes  and electric motors. Graphic Design and Multimedia  instructs students in the basics of web design , prepress design and quality multimedia in different context.

Foreign Languages

The lessons allotted to specialized courses that are aimed at building over the acquired skills and knowledge are distributed among English, foreign Language /other than English/and Bulgarian language and Literature.

This profiling course is intended to broaden the knowledge gained from the comprehensive curriculum and might be of interest for those who wish to pursue a career in foreign language study and the humanities.

The skills and knowledge taught in Foreign Languages allow the deepening and advancing in language and communication competencies, in fiction interpretation skills, as well as in the composition of the students’ own original texts.

Natural Sciences

The lessons allotted to specialized courses that are aimed at building over the acquired skills and knowledge are distributed between Chemistry and Biology mainly, students avail of extra classes in the optional Physics, Mathematics and Geography.

The knowledge and skills taught in Natural Sciences prepare students to pass the entrance exams in Medical universities and when applying to study experimental studies in other universities.

The main aim of this set of courses is to encourage analytical thinking, the interest in experimental studies, to prepare students for many future professions in which they will need competence in natural and mathematical studies.
